Curdin

The prize is awarded by SRG Ostschweiz; the cantons of Eastern Switzerland donate the prize money. The aim is to honor a personality who pursues demanding, solid and versatile journalism.

Born and raised in Trimmis near Chur in 1973, Curdin Vincenz studied humanities at the University of Bern after graduating from high school. Shortly after graduating, he joined Radio DRS, where he has now been working for almost 20 years in a wide variety of roles - the station has since become Radio SRF. In 1996, he started at the regional journals of Eastern Switzerland and Graubünden. In 1998, he moved to the newsroom in Zurich. In 2001, he returned to "Regionaljournal Graubünden", where he was the Graubünden correspondent until 2006. He then worked as a presenter for the news magazine "Rendez-vous". At the end of 2011, he became Zurich correspondent for Radio SRF. He only recently took his latest professional step: he joined Radio SRF's Federal Parliament editorial team at the end of October 2016.
