Nepal becomes guest country at FIFF 2017
Nepal will be the guest country at the next Freiburg International Film Festival (FIFF). From March 31 to April 8, 2017, the festival will screen 20 Nepalese short and feature-length films in the Terra Incognita section.
In recent years, FIFF has presented films from Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Madagascar and the indigenous peoples of North America in this section. The announcement was made on Monday at the Festival del film in Locarno, where the FIFF also confirmed the continuation of the short film jury convened this year, which is made up of students from the film studies training and research program Netzwerk Cinema CH.
