The digitization of radio is moving forward. Thirteen new cultural and specialty stations are now enriching Winterthur’s radio landscape. This is made possible by new technology from the company Digris, which significantly reduces costs. Until now, a local radio station had to pay 135,000 francs to cover a region via DAB+. Digris’s new technology now costs a radio station just 1,220 francs per year per region.
