Markus Stotz back at Netzmedien
Starting June 1, 2016, Netzmedien is expanding its sales team under Sales Director Davide Mariniello with the addition of Markus Stotz. Stotz is no stranger to the Swiss ICT media scene and previously worked at Netzmedien from 2010 to 2014.
Stotz is a well-known figure in the Swiss ICT media scene and, as a former employee, also at Netzmedien. As head of sales at the Netzmedien publishing title IT-Markt from 2010 to 2014, he played a key role in the launch and anchoring of the trade magazine in the Swiss IT channel. Prior to that, Stotz was head of sales at Huron in Zurich for almost 3 years and worked at Compress AG in Thalwil for over 8 years from 1997 to 2005. Over the past twelve months, Stotz worked as Partner Development Manager for the value-added distributor Zibris, based in Rothenburg, Lucerne, where he also got to know the Swiss IT channel from the customer side. This experience will help him in his future work at Netzmedien to respond even better to the needs of customers and to design tailor-made communication packages for them. At Zibris, Stotz said in a press release, he enjoyed the collegial collaboration and the expansion of the Artec IT Solutions brand. "But my heart still beats strongly for the media industry and for network media in particular. I am looking forward to returning."
