Last but not least: lies have a short journey

Very open test drive: lie detector, Smart Cabrio. If the driver lies, the roof closes and the ride is over.

"The world's most open test drive" is the brainchild of the Berlin-based creative minds BBDO and K-MB Agentur für Markenkommunikation. The viral film hasn't really gone viral yet - just over 10,000 views on YouTube - but that could still happen. The chances are good, because so is the idea. It shows couples - for example friends or mother and daughter - on a special test drive in an open-top Smart Fortwo convertible. The competition: to drive open-top for as long as possible. Meaning: not to lie for as long as possible. Even if the questions would actually invite you to do so over time. Only those who are really open will pass the challenge. And so the connection between an open top and a lie detector is established. (hae)
