A new app for the Blick Group

The Blick Group is launching its fifth app, «BliQ.» The app brings news to smartphones using a playing-card-style interface and learns quickly based on user interest.

BliQ is the name of the Blick Group's latest app - with the "Q" standing for "Quick. "Quick" because content from the Blick.ch and Blickamabend.ch websites is offered in a colorful mix in the form of playing cards and can either be clicked on and read - or quickly wiped away - according to the needs and interests of the user. BliQ shows itself to be adaptive: After a few initial indications of interest at startup, the app learns very quickly what interests the user and what does not. The Blick Newsroom offers articles from all areas that are updated 24 hours a day, as well as videos, graphics, photo galleries, etc. All content is in German and can be accessed directly. The app is available free of charge for iOS and Google Android smartphones and can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The software developers Netcetera and Xplain provided active support in the development. BliqQ is the fifth app of the group after the apps Blick News, Blick Sport, Blick am Abend and the SonntagsBlick E-Paper App.
