Two renowned heads new at Gecko
The Bern-based agency Gecko Communication is launching a close collaboration with Susanne Sugimoto, the former Head of Communications & Public Affairs for Central Europe West at Holcim, and is bringing media professional Nik Eugster from Radio Energy on board.
This move strengthens Gecko's expertise in corporate communications, issues management, public affairs, stakeholder management, electronic media and social media.
Susanne Sugimoto-Erdös was Head of Communication & Public Affairs Central Europe West at Holcim for several years and can look back on several years of experience in management positions at Coop and KV Switzerland. At the beginning of 2016, she will start her own agency under the name Sugimoto Consulting in Zurich. Sugimoto Consulting will enter into a close partnership with the Bern-based agency gecko communication ag, which will thus also be represented in Zurich.
In addition, Nik Eugster joined Gecko at the beginning of 2016 as a specialist in media relations, social media and media/communications training. Nik Eugster has managed several private radio stations over the past twelve years, most recently the two Energy programs in Bern and Basel. He is taking a back seat at Radio Energy from 2016 and reducing his workload so that he can now also make his media and communications expertise available to gecko communication ag's clients.
The Bern-based agency gecko, with managing partners Matthias Kuratli, Nicole Walker and Pascal Schütz, has been active for the past two years, particularly in the areas of public relations, sponsoring and integrated communications consulting.
