Launch of the first salary survey of the Swiss PR and communications industry

The first survey on wages and salaries in the Swiss communications and PR industry stems from a broad-based initiative by the national industry organizations PR Suisse, BPRA, Harbour Club and SPRI.

The Università della Svizzera italiana USI is also responsible for programming and evaluation. The goal of the survey, according to the release, is to gain the clearest possible picture of salary levels in the Swiss PR and communications industry and how they are influenced by professional and personal attributes. The survey is running now and will close on Sept. 19. The results will be presented to the public at the end of October.

The response takes no longer than five minutes and is possible via any device (PC, laptop, tablet, mobile). To ensure full anonymity, no information is identified that allows any conclusions to be drawn about the sender, such as name, e-mail address or IP address. Only USI has access to the data.

The project is supported by the same organizations that regularly publish the "Practice Monitor" as part of the "Swiss Corporate Communication and Public Relations Observatory", the only comprehensive survey on the development and current trends in the Swiss PR and communications industry. In the interest of the quality and relevance of the results, the sponsors hope for the highest possible response rate.
