Toggenburg Medien: Serge Hediger becomes new Managing Director
Toggenburg Medien has appointed Serge Hediger as managing director. Effective September 1, 2015, he will also assume the dual role of editorial director, thereby taking on responsibility for the further development of the Toggenburg regional newspapers.
The 51-year-old Serge Hediger has many years of experience in corporate and marketing communications. Most recently, he worked at the Swiss National Museum and CSS Insurance. Prior to that, he worked for many years in responsible positions as an editor at "Facts" magazine, "SonntagsBlick" and "Zürcher Oberländer", among others. Serge Hediger lives with his family in Lichtensteig. The previous editorial director Sabine Schmid has decided to concentrate more on writing again and will work as a reporter for Toggenburg Medien in future.

Toggenburg Medien is a subsidiary of St. Galler Tagblatt AG. It unites the Toggenburger Tagblatt, the Toggenburger Nachrichten and the Alttoggenburger under one roof.
