Alpha 245 for Clear Channel: People from brands
Alpha 245 has implemented the claim "Where brands meet people" for Clear Channel in a visually stunning way.
Clear Channel is one of the leading marketers of outdoor advertising in Switzerland. In the spring of this year, it commissioned the Zurich agency Alpha 245 to develop an image campaign. With the poster as the main medium. For the creative team at Letzigraben, it was important to find an idea for the claim "Where brands meet people" that was as simple and visual as possible. In order to do justice to both Clear Channel's core message and the poster medium. The result was a visually powerful implementation with portraits composed of countless signets. As simple as the idea was, as complex was its realization. Dozens of companies in Switzerland were asked whether they would make their logo available. And almost all of them agreed. In the end, Greek artist Charis Tsevis had a total of seventy logos at his disposal to create the likenesses. In addition to the strong basic idea, expressive faces formed the basis for the three portraits. From mid-August, they will be hanging in prominent Clear Channel billboard locations. And they will advertise as animated digital screens throughout Switzerland.
You can find out more about the background to the campaign in the upcoming print edition of Werbewoche (number 14/15 of August 21, 2015).
