Swiss Family expands editorial offering
With the launch of the new "Family Life" section, the weekly magazine Schweizer Familie aims to accentuate its position as the highest-circulation family magazine in Switzerland.
The new section comprises five to six pages and provides weekly tips and advice for families with children. The content is aimed at parents, grandparents and relatives as well as people who look after children, kids and teenagers at work or in their free time.
The section is structured as follows: A magazine page with tips on shopping, books, games, leisure and vacations. Three to four pages of service - reports with high utility value on everyday family topics. One page of advice: journalist and family expert Xenia Frenkel, herself a mother and grandmother, writes about how conflicts in everyday family life can be tackled and defused. The new section will appear for the first time in issue 34 on August 20.
