Velvet celebrates 20th anniversary
The Lucerne agency Velvet celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The official celebration took place on Friday with over 400 guests at the Neubad in Lucerne.
In 1995, on the longest day of the year, Velvet is founded in Lucerne. From the beginning, the owner-managed company focuses on creativity in communication. Graphics and design for the local music scene and culture characterize the founding period, but the first commercial commissions soon follow and Velvet develops national and international advertising campaigns. The studio develops into a renowned advertising agency and works under the slogan "business as pleasure". The team currently comprises 14 employees.

The official celebration took place last Friday with employees, customers and friends. Around 450 guests accepted the invitation to the Neubad in Lucerne. In the form of a raffle with slide show, 20 defining moments of Velvet were presented. Entertainer" Max Christian Graeff and actress Juliane Lang led through the evening. To win there were items from the archive of the studio, such as: Velvet Edition books, John Bonham's cymbal from Led Zeppelin or the "original Claudia Schiffer underwear" from the legendary advertising campaign for the Museum of Communication in Bern.

Since 1995, Velvet has managed brands such as Stimorol, Paiste, Swatch, Flik Flak, Völkl, Flims Laax Falera, Kammerspiele Munich, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Zurich, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, BFU Beratungsstelle für Unfallverhütung, Zentrum Paul Klee, Halter Bonbons, Luzern Tourismus, FC Luzern, Schweizerisches Nationalmuseum, Swiss Re.
