Free function for multi-day scheduling
Doodle is strengthening its basic service and today launches a new free function worldwide: From now on, events lasting several days can also be optimally planned.
At Doodle Doodle CEO Michael Brecht explains the idea behind the new multiday feature: "We are in close contact with users - and in discussions with event managers as well as families and groups of friends, we have discovered that there are many situations in which a meeting lasts several days. The demand is apparently great, as 65,000 of these new surveys with over 250,000 participants have already been created on Doodle in a first short test phase, as the company announced in a press release on Thursday.
How it works
Instead of individual days, you select several contiguous dates as a suggested date, define the start and end times of the event and let the survey participants vote on the most suitable options as usual.
The new Doodle function is now available free of charge in the global desktop version of Doodle and can also be used on tablets. The feature will follow on the mobile-optimized website and in the mobile Doodle apps in the coming months.
