Strong increase compared to the previous year
In contrast to the previous year, there was no shortage of outstanding performance on the 2015 Federal Examination for Communication Planners. As many as five candidates achieved an average grade higher than 5.
This spring, despite strong competition from universities of applied sciences, around 100 candidates from all over Switzerland once again passed the demanding, practice-oriented exams for communications planners in Zurich (written) and Biel (oral). 82 percent of those tested from German-speaking Switzerland and 63 percent from French-speaking Switzerland passed the exams, thus demonstrating their skills not only in communication planning, media and production, the three main subjects.
Five graduates from German-speaking Switzerland did so particularly impressively. They shone with a final grade of more than 5.0, while in French-speaking Switzerland the best candidate achieved a grade point average of 4.6. The best result was achieved by Stefanie Huber from Schenkon with a fabulous final grade of 5.5, followed by Mirjam Küchler from Sarnen with 5.3, Deborah Marzo from Meilen with 5.2 and ex-aequo Cynthia Domfe from Zurich and Adrian Widmer from Untersiggenthal, both with an excellent 5.1.
With the successful graduates, the communications industry is gaining proven practitioners with a solid theoretical foundation. The hard-earned and well-deserved professional certificates will be awarded on June 26 in Fribourg by the president of the examination board, Urs Schneider, in the spirit of building bridges across the Röstigraben.
