Ringier bundles women's magazines

The women's magazines published by Ringier will collaborate more closely in the future: SI Style, Bolero, and Bolero Men in German-speaking Switzerland, as well as Edelweiss in French-speaking Switzerland, will now be grouped together under the name "Fashion Factory.".

The closer cooperation will result in editorial synergies and interesting new offers for advertising customers. The individual titles, which are very well established in the market, will retain their profiles, but will now be managed centrally by SI Style Editor-in-Chief Sabina Hanselmann-Diethelm. Bolero Editor-in-Chief Sithara Atasoy will remain with the magazine as Senior Editor with a fixed section. In Zurich, the editorial team of Bolero will move together with that of SI Style in the Ringier Pressehaus - in Lausanne, Edelweiss will become part of the newly designed newsroom. The editorial teams were informed today about the launch of the Fashion Factory project.

Urs Heller, Managing Director of Magazines Switzerland: "Thanks to the new synergies, we will be able to produce magazines of even higher quality in the future and are now working with the editorial teams to design the Fashion Factory." The detailed concept should be available by the end of March.

A Ringier spokesperson told the SDA news agency that it is still open whether there will be any job cuts. Ringier is working out a detailed concept for the planned Fashion Factory by the end of March. (pd/hae)
