Prophet expands location in Switzerland

Prophet, an international brand and marketing consulting firm, is expanding its operations in Switzerland. Jan Döring will head the Zurich office going forward.

Even after the appreciation of the Swiss franc, the Swiss metropolis of Zurich remains one of the most interesting locations in Europe for international corporate headquarters. The global strategy and brand consultant Prophet is therefore underlining its belief in the strategic importance of the Swiss metropolis by expanding its office there and appointing Jan Döring as head of the office in mid-February this year.

Döring wants to expand the Prophet office in Zurich and significantly increase the number of employees from the current 20. "Switzerland is one of the most important markets for us in Europe, so we want to continue to drive growth there and offer companies our expertise and competent services," says Döring. The local customers are mostly international groups based in Switzerland or local Swiss companies. The expensive Swiss franc will not affect the plans, says the Prophet consultant. He does not fear any long-term strategic changes on the part of his clients with regard to Switzerland as a business location. On the contrary, Prophet assumes that many companies will (have to) focus on growth right now.

Döring has been working for Prophet since 2011 and was previously based in the Berlin office. He is an expert in brand and business strategies as well as strategic concepts for digital transformation. In the years before that, the consultant successfully built up and managed the consultancy Noshokaty, Döring & Thun, which merged with Prophet four years ago. Prophet President Rune Gustafson is delighted about the expansion of capacities in Zurich: "We are very pleased that Jan Döring will be responsible for our very important Zurich office in the future. This underlines our vision of growth and excellent customer solutions for international groups working from Switzerland".
