Tages-Anzeiger expands innovation team

As of February 1, 2015, the Tages-Anzeiger welcomed new members to its Innovation Digital team. Two new employees are now providing additional support to the team, which was founded in early 2014.

The Innovation Digital team is a staff unit reporting directly to the editor-in-chief of Tages-Anzeiger Online/Newsnet and acts as the coordination point for all digital projects of Tages-Anzeiger and the Newsnet websites.

Marc Fehr, 27, will start as a multimedia storyteller at the beginning of February. He graduated from HTW Chur in August 2014 with a bachelor's degree in multimedia engineering and was subsequently hired as a teacher. During his studies, he completed two internships in front-end development and film production. Based in the newsroom, he will mainly focus on multimedia short-form stories such as infographics, interactive maps and animations.

Lea Koch, 23, is changing roles. In her new position as video editor and producer, she supports the departments in brainstorming, implementing and producing video content. She continues to produce the Soundslides format, introduced in 2014, in collaboration with the picture editorial team and the Innovation Digital team.

Dinja Plattner, 25, succeeds Lea Koch in the Innovation Digital team as of February 2. Dinja is studying Business Communications at HWZ Zurich and is expected to complete her Bachelor's degree in mid-2015. Most recently, she worked as a Communications Consultant at Swiss Re.
