Last but not least: The problem-solving beer

According to a study, people solve problems most creatively when they are slightly drunk. A Danish agency has therefore launched the beer "The Problem Solver".

As Homer Simpson once said: "Here's to alcohol - the source and solution to all of life's problems". It's old news that the number one drug in society has more than just negative properties, in addition to all its devastating consequences. Red wine, for example, is said to be beneficial to health in certain doses. And beer can generate valuable beer ideas that seem very worth pursuing, at least for the rest of the evening.

This popular knowledge has now been rock-solidly underpinned by science. a study at the University of Illinois showed that people with an alcohol level of 0.75 per mille generate the most creative thought processes. This is said to be the ideal level for solving problems, inventions and general "out of the box" thinking.

But this is obvious: If this value is exceeded, productivity will only go downhill. The Danish agency CP&B Copenhagen therefore has the beer "The Problem Solver" developed. The bottle of hand-brewed Indian Pale Ale helps you reach your creative peak according to your gender and weight.

Presumably an idea that was also born over an after-work beer. It shouldn't be taken much more seriously. And the fact that a man weighing 80 kg is supposed to have 0.75 per mille after less than 7.5 dl of beer - that would make the Danish chickens laugh. Nevertheless, the beer is no joke and can be bought in well-stocked Danish drinks shops. And it is served within the agency when creativity is required. Cheers! (hae)
