"Stolen Moments" in the ADC Gallery
After several exhibitions at home and abroad, Daniel Comte is showing his photographic works at the ADC Gallery for the first time.
The creative director and photographer is a quiet observer of everyday madness and captures astonishing and touching everyday situations with a sensitive eye. Daniel Comte was born in Bern in 1963. After studying graphic design at the School of Applied Arts in Bern, he became Creative Director and a member of the management team at Matter Leo Burnett in 1984. From 1998 to the present day, he has worked as a creative director in the largest advertising agencies in Switzerland. He has been a member of the Art Directors Club Switzerland ADC since 1995. Today he lives and works in Zurich. He has a long-standing collaboration with Richard Avedon.

Daniel Comte has won over 300 national and international creative and Effie awards. He is also an enthusiastic photographer. Art and culture are his spiritual media, as he says. "I consider myself a silent observer of everyday madness and the coexistence of chance". As a street photographer with a sensitive eye, he wants to be perceived as a tourist and capture situations bluntly. (uma)
Comte's works can be seen at the ADC Gallery, Zentralstrasse 18, Zurich, until January 15, 2015.
