Security Forum: Change in the Editor-in-Chief
Roger Strässle, editor-in-chief of the magazine Umwelt Perspektiven for many years, will take over as editor-in-chief of the magazine Sicherheits Forum on January 1, 2015. He succeeds Marcel Schmid, who will leave Media Sec at the turn of the year.
Marcel Schmid had been working for Media Sec since 2007. During this time, he successfully modernized the appearance of the publication, which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, according to a statement. Marcel Schmid is leaving the company at his own request.
He is succeeded by the specialist journalist Roger Strässle. The magazine Umwelt Perspektiven, for which he has been editor-in-chief since 1998, was initiated by Daniel Beer, founder of Mediasec. At the end of 2012, it was re-integrated into Galledia Verlag - the parent company of Mediasec - after having been published by Urang for several years. In addition to his work for Umwelt Perspektiven, Roger Strässle supplies the trade journal Management und Qualität with articles on risk management.
