Last but not least: Charming snail mail
The "Snail Mail my E-Mail" campaign is now running again for one week. This means: you write an e-mail and the recipient receives an artistically designed letter by post. Free of charge.
Doesn't that sound promising? It seems to be. In 2011, "Snail Mail my E-Mail" was launched by artist Ivan Cash as a one-off project. For one month, he wrote, drew and designed what was sent to him at a specific email address - and forwarded the letters to the recipients by post. Unsurprisingly, the project became so popular and successful that it was repeated the following year. And more and more volunteer artists joined the loving snail mail - in 2013 there were around 230. To date, over 10,000 e-mails have been "breathed life into" and successfully delivered.

The letter of a maximum of 800 characters is entered into the form on Snailmailmyemail.org typed, with address and sender. As you can see on the "Letter Map", letters have also been sent to Switzerland.

Not very many yet. There could be more. You still have until November 16, the "booking window" has been open since yesterday. It is not clear from the website whether all entries will be sent. But it should be worth a try. (hae)
