Renato Profico becomes new CEO of Jobcloud
On January 1, 2015, Renato Profico will take over the management of Jobcloud from Mark Sandmeier, who will join the Board of Directors together with Michel Kaufmann, the current Head of Marketing and Products.
Renato Profico, who grew up bilingual, brings in-depth knowledge of the German and French-speaking Swiss job market and has 14 years of experience in e-recruiting. The 48-year-old from Valais has been working for Jobs.ch since 2008, first as Head of Business Development and since mid-2010 as Head of Sales and member of the Executive Board. Before that, Renato Profico worked for several years as Country Manager for Monster Switzerland.

Renato Profico will continue to expand Jobcloud and its services in German- and French-speaking Switzerland together with his existing management team and more than 140 employees, according to a statement.

The new Marketing Manager for German and French-speaking Switzerland and member of the Executive Board will be 30-year-old Mara Nellen, who was previously responsible for the company's marketing in French-speaking Switzerland. The Vaudois holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Haute École de Gestion in Geneva and has been working for Jobcloud since 2010.

Patrik Breitenmoser, who has been Head of IT and a member of the Executive Board for many years, is now also responsible for Jobcloud's product management.
Frédéric Gaiani, previous Head of the Western Switzerland region, has decided to leave the company and take on a new challenge. Over the past six years, Frédéric Gaiani has made a decisive contribution to the development of Jobup.ch into the best-known and most popular job portal in French-speaking Switzerland.

Mark Sandmeier (right) and Michel Kaufmann (left), both of whom have worked for the company since 2000, are joining the Jobcloud Board of Directors. Over the past 15 years, they have developed Jobs.ch into Switzerland's leading job portal and successfully merged Jobs.ch and Jobup into Jobcloud since 2013. As members of the Board of Directors, they will continue to use their many years of experience and contacts for the company. The Jobcloud board of directors, which includes the two partners Ringier and Tamedia, is pleased that an internal solution for the new management of Jobcloud could be found and that the company will retain the competencies of Mark Sandmeier and Michel Kaufmann through their move to the board of directors, according to a statement.
