Metzgerlehner: Augmented Reality at Manor
The Manor Plus app, developed by Metzgerlehner and Takondi, uses augmented reality to transform the toy catalog into a whole new experience.
Even at the traditional department store Manor, sales have long since ceased to take place only on site. But e-commerce has also developed decisively with mobile devices, according to a press release. With them, customers can enter the buying process anytime and anywhere. Manor also makes this possible for customers - with an app extension of the classic Christmas toy catalog.

Augmented reality technology offers new opportunities to supercharge real products with digital added value. This enables new forms of customer loyalty and brand differentiation. And it was precisely with this that metzgerlehner was able to convince Manor. The agency's idea: to turn this year's toy catalog into a new and unique experience using augmented reality technology - for children and adults alike.

The 3D viewer brings the popular Christmas toy catalog to life with surprising animations and embeds many exciting videos. To simplify the ordering process of products for all moms and dads, goddesses and godmothers, grandmas and grandpas, the 3D viewer also links each catalog product to the corresponding page in the online store.

In view of the fact that prices are regularly adjusted to the market situation, the 3D viewer offers another decisive advantage: the prices of the products in the catalog are automatically updated - which is particularly interesting for users in the event of price reductions.

The Manor Plus app, developed by Metzgerlehner with technology partner Takondi, has been available free of charge in the app stores since the end of October and is now being continuously enhanced with new functions. Manor will thus be able to position itself as the most modern department store and most attractive toy retailer during the Christmas season.
