SW: The new communications manager cohort
Once again, women came out on top in the Advanced Professional Examination for Communication Managers. With an overall pass rate of over 85 percent, they not only made up the majority of the examinees but also claimed the top three spots in their graduating class.
At this year's Higher Professional Examination for Communication Managers at Digicomp's premises in Zurich, candidates once again had the opportunity to take the written exam either on a PC or by hand. While 9 out of 21 candidates took advantage of this modern option in 2013, only 2 out of 14 did so this year. This is all the more surprising given that there are repeated calls for a more practical examination design.
Of the total of 14 candidates, 12 passed the examination. Women were clearly in the majority with 9 candidates. In addition, they clearly achieved the best results and were the three best candidates of the year with an average of 4.9 each. With this "rough headwind", the communication men will probably have to start "dressing warmly", according to the umbrella organization Schweizer Werbung SW.
