Homegate takes over Home.ch
Homegate is taking over the real estate platform Home.ch, which is operated by Local.ch. With this acquisition, Homegate is diversifying its portfolio and offering in the digital real estate advertising market.
Home.ch is a Swiss real estate portal for residential and commercial rental and purchase properties and offers other features related to housing in addition to the classic search function. Homegate.ch intends to further develop the platform and strengthen the brand by utilizing network effects, among other things. With its niche offering for shared rooms or the unique overview of current building applications in the desired area, Home.ch ideally complements Homegate.ch's existing offering, according to a press release. Customers should also benefit from a wider reach and improved regional coverage as a result of the takeover. With over 5.4 million regular monthly visits, of which well over 1.4 million are unique clients (Net-Metrix audit), Homegate.ch is the online presence with the widest reach.
Home.ch is part of LTV Yellow Pages, which operates the search and directory platform Local.ch. Home.ch generates around one million visits and over 450,000 unique clients per month. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
