3+ confirms: Rafael Beutl is the new "Bachelor
What other media outlets had already speculated is now confirmed by 3+: The new «Bachelor» is Rafael Beutl. Vujo Gavric’s successor is 28 years old, 1 meter 85 cm tall, has dark brown hair, and doe-brown eyes.
At the launch party for his new TV channel 5+, 3+ station boss Dominik Kaiser makes official what has already been doing the rounds for some time as a rumor in various media: "Rafael Beutl is the new Bachelor". The 28-year-old trained carpenter works full-time as a model and took part in the Mister Switzerland contest in 2010. From October, he will be turning the heads of the 20 candidates on 3+. In eight episodes, the man from Lucerne will hand out lots of roses in his search for the perfect woman - until he finally chooses his favorite from the 20 candidates. According to the press release, Beutl describes himself as "likeable, upbeat and very down-to-earth.
The third Bachelor season was filmed in Thailand, among other places. There, "The Bachelor" gets to know the 20 ladies vying for his heart. At the end of each episode, Rafael Beutl hands out red roses to those ladies with whom he would like to spend more romantic hours. If the chosen ladies accept the Bachelor's rose, they will meet again one week later. Finally, the last rose goes to the woman with whom "The Bachelor" can imagine a future together.
