New Telesuisse management
With Marc Friedli, Telesuisse—the association of Swiss regional television stations—has brought on board a proven TV professional to lead its day-to-day operations.
After working as an editor at Swiss Television, Marc Friedli has been responsible for various private radio and TV stations since 1994, including a total of 16 years at Tele Bärn. Marc Friedli has been a member of the Telesuisse Board since 2009. From October, the 48-year-old from Bern will take over responsibility for the association's operational business. He will take over from Sabrina Carron, who was the first female Managing Director in Telesuisse's history to be responsible for the association's operational business over the past two years. Sabrina Carron has decided to take on a new challenge.
The regional television association Telesuisse has been in existence since 1996. The association represents its members in particular vis-à-vis the political authorities and state bodies as well as the collecting societies for copyrights and related rights. It coordinates the joint efforts of its members in the area of market research and represents the regional broadcasters vis-à-vis other institutions and organizations associated with the industry. André Moesch has been President of the Telesuisse Association since 2012.
