Last but not least: Advertising agency publicizes the dastardly killer COPD
People talk about AIDS or, more recently, swine flu, yet there is a disease that is still widely underestimated and not well known, both globally and in Switzerland: COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). This chronic and incurable lung disease—also known as “smoker’s lung”—narrows the airways of those affected, gradually progressing to the point of respiratory failure. It is precisely this aspect of the disease that the Swiss Advertising Agency has highlighted in its new COPD prevention campaign for the Zurich Lung League.
People talk about Aids or currently about swine flu, but there is one disease that is still vastly underestimated and under-recognized throughout the world and Switzerland: COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). With a campaign, lUngenlige is now aiming to increase awareness of this disease and raise awareness. To this end, the advertising agency has designed images with the slogan "COPD suffocates you slowly and insidiously, without warning". This message is used stringently across all advertising media. For example, on posters, public transport dispensers, cards for free and with the numerous BTL measures, which are also intended to cause a stir in clubs and bars. You can also find out your own COPD risk by taking a self-test online and on the back of the postcards.
