The Zurich-based media company Ringier is reducing the size of its executive board to four members. Florian Fels, CEO of Publishing, is leaving the company by mutual agreement. Michael Voss, Ringier’s current COO, will also take over the Publishing division.

As of July 1, the Group Executive Board of Ringier AG will consist of CEO Marc Walder, Michael Voss (CEO Publishing and Entertainment), Thomas Kaiser (Chief Digital Officer and CEO Ringier Digital AG) and Annabella Bassler (Chief Financial Officer), Ringier wrote in a statement Friday.

Robin Lingg, previously Head of Business Development, has been appointed CEO of Ringier Africa and Asia. Lingg will be responsible for Ringier's activities in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. He will also become a member of the expanded Group Executive Board.

Florian Fels took over as Head of Publishing on March 1, 2013. Previously, he was CEO of the joint venture between Ringier and Axel Springer in Eastern Europe, Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, for three years.
