Tele Züri becomes official TV partner of the Street Parade
The TV station and the Street Parade Zurich association have agreed a corresponding cooperation. Tele Züri will be the only German-language TV station to broadcast the parade live from Sechseläutenplatz on August 2, 2014.
The partnership between the Street Parade Zurich association and the Zurich television station includes the production of the official live broadcast from the 2014 Parade. Tele Züri will report directly from Sechseläutenplatz on August 2, 2014, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The new location will enable Tele Züri to broadcast the best and most emotional images of the Street Parade from the middle of the action and with a direct view of a large stage at the Zurich mega-event, according to a statement.
With over 100,000 viewers and a market share of up to 27 percent in the advertising-relevant target group of 15 to 49-year-olds, Tele Züri was already able to generate record figures for the Street Parade broadcast last year. As the official TV partner of the Street Parade and the only live TV station in the German-speaking part of Switzerland to broadcast the event, a further increase in these figures can be expected, writes the media company.
The live broadcast lasts from 15:00 to 19:00, is produced in HD and hosted by David Karasek. A big summary "Best of Street Parade" will be broadcast by all three TV channels of AZ Medien (Tele Züri, Tele M1 and Tele Bärn) after the live broadcast at 19:20 with hourly repeats.
