Anibis.ch now a brand of Scout24
As part of a merger, the classifieds platform Anibis.ch will be integrated into Switzerland's largest network of online marketplaces. Scout24 has been wholly owned by Ringier Digital since early 2014.
The five companies Classifieds Business Beteiligungs- und Verwaltungs AG, Scout24 Holding, Scout24 Schweiz, Xmedia and Anibis were merged retroactively as of January 1, 2014 to form Scout24 Schweiz, according to a statement on Tuesday. Anibis.ch thus becomes the new brand of Scout24 Switzerland. All companies were already previously wholly owned subsidiaries of Ringier Digital. The reasons for the merger lie in the simplification of the structure as well as in the optimization of the organizational and operational structure of the Ringier Digital Group. Patrik Hagi (Director anibis.ch) and Jean-Daniel Graf (Chief Information Officer) are the new additions to the Scout24 management team. As the largest Swiss classifieds platform, anibis.ch is a valuable addition to Scout24 Switzerland's offering, according to a statement. Together with the specialized marketplaces AutoScout24, MotoScout24 and ImmoScout24, Switzerland's largest classified network reaches 1.9 million unique users* per month (source: NET-Metrix Profile 2014-1).
