Last but not least: Dog he moves after all
Woman runs over dog: Russian car cameras record everything. Why is the video still funny? See for yourself.
Car cameras - so-called dashcams - are also slowly gaining ground in this country. Ever since a driver filmed how the "Bagger Depp" demolished a bridge in January, many drivers have felt the need to record their journeys on video. As is always the case when people film wildly in public spaces, data protectionists cry foul. Fortunately.
Dashcams have long been standard on Russia's wild roads. When it comes to questions of fault in accidents, the recordings have become indispensable. The rest of the world is happy: for years, Russian drivers have been providing YouTube with the most hair-raising, fascinating and funny scenes from everyday life on the road. The program "The Road War" is a ratings hit on Russian television. Speaking of a ratings hit: this video with an unexpected twist and a happy ending will probably be too. (hae)
