Last but not least: iTable for two

Pizza Hut customers will soon be able to customize and order their favorite pizzas on sleek, interactive tables. The world has been waiting for this.

The Pizza Hut restaurant chain is launching interactive tables that will bridge media- and touchscreen-free meal gaps in future. Admittedly, the result is impressive. Graphically impeccable, you can put together the pizza of your choice with your finger. First the size is determined, then the type of crust. The amount of cheese can be freely varied and the rest of the pizza can be topped as desired. Almost like a real pizza party. The order is completed with optional toppings, triggered and paid for via smartphone.

The best part comes afterwards: If you don't want to struggle with real-life conversation afterwards, you no longer have to flee to your smartphone, but can bridge the waiting time with games on the table of your choice. It's about time: simply sitting opposite each other in a restaurant and chatting is no longer in keeping with the times and should no longer be expected of customers in future.

But it's not that far yet, the big sigh of relief is yet to come. Pizza Hut presents the touch table as a concept developed by Chaotic Moon Studios that "could represent the future of the Pizza Hut ordering experience". (hae)
