Frontwork packed ABB reception area
In the reception hall of ABB High Voltage Products in Zurich-Oerlikon, there was little sign of high-tech and innovation. True to the motto "beautifully packaged is half the battle", Frontwork has now created a new, prestigious reception area.
The frontwork specialists wrapped the radiators behind an opaque, white-printed glass wall. This creates a contrast to the gray exposed concrete. The white glass wall stretches the entire length of the room and is backlit with LED light strips.
The agency writes in a press release on Tuesday that it has succeeded in creating a fundamentally different sense of space without any structural changes. "We would never have come up with the idea of wrapping the gray wall and the dominant radiators behind glass. The result is very convincing," says a delighted Kim Lam, client at ABB.
