Blick am Abend goes online

Starting Thursday, December 12, the free newspaper *Blick am Abend* will have its own website. *Blickamabend.ch* will focus on mobile use.

According to a statement, Blickamabend.ch presents news and entertainment attractively, with strong images and interactively. Content can be shared, commented on and linked to social networks in a simple and user-friendly way. The focus is strongly on mobile use with smartphones. In addition to the typical Blick am Abend news and the established sections familiar from print, entertaining information is now also presented digitally in so-called listicles. This is done in the form of text, images and, of course, audio-visually. Navigation is intuitive, simple and clearly structured.

Florian Fels, CEO Publishing Ringier: "Blickamabend.ch is the consistent transfer of the Blick am Abend success story to the digital platforms. Advertising customers benefit in the attractive target group of Blick am Abend from a new and modern form of advertising, so-called native advertising. In addition, customers have access to extensive sponsorship opportunities." Peter Röthlisberger, Editor-in-Chief of Blick am Abend and Blickamabend.ch: "I am delighted that, especially in our anniversary year, we can now serve our readers around the clock with the latest news, reports and best entertainment."

The new platform will be maintained from the modern newsroom of the Blick Group and will be launched with a party in Zurich on Thursday, December 12. Bligg will give an exclusive concert and selected readers are also invited to the event.
