New radio station: Blue Sky

Music First Network, featuring Giuseppe Scaglione and Daniel Hartmann, is launching a new radio station in December: Radio Blue Sky will play timeless feel-good music from the '70s and '80s.

Not just a radio station for adults and not just a station for golden agers, according to a statement. Radio Blue Sky evokes musical "magic moments" in the lives of everyone, regardless of age. Everyone associates their own personal memories and experiences with the unforgettable songs of the Bee Gees, Rod Stewart, Prince, Donna Summer, Stevie Wonder or Abba. The 70s and 80s have shaped music history like no other era. To this day, this era stands for timeless feel-good music that accompanies us every day. The songs from the musicals Fame, Footlose, Grease and Flashdance also inspire young and old alike.

Radio Blue Sky recalls these songs from the 70s and 80s and the magical moments associated with them. The new station will be launched in December and, in addition to the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s, will provide up-to-date and competent news and weather forecasts. Radio Blue Sky can be received on DAB+, cable, satellite and the internet in practically the whole of German-speaking Switzerland.

The Zurich-based company Music First Network, which also operates Radio 105 and Radio Monte Carlo, is behind the new radio station. The previous managing director Giuseppe Scaglione and his new partner Daniel Hartmann developed the Radio Blue Sky concept together and decided to launch the new station at the end of the year following in-depth market studies. Both are convinced that the music concept of Radio Blue Sky will appeal to a large audience in Switzerland.
