The Swiss Text Award

The Swiss Text Award was established by the Swiss Text Academy primarily as a prize to promote emerging talent: The jury recognized young copywriters for their use of modern German business language. Since an increasing number of senior copywriters have been applying for the Swiss Text Award in recent years, the Academy expanded the award for senior copywriters to three categories in 2009 and added a fourth category, «Advertisement/Poster,» this year.

The Swiss Text Academy

One of the Swiss Text Academy’s founding purposes is «the promotion of the German language in the media and business.» The Academy aims to achieve this goal not only through its educational and continuing education programs but also through regular scholarly research—both in German-speaking Switzerland and in other German-speaking countries.
