Last but not least: Website in the forest
The agency Hello Computer has recreated a website for Toyota—in real life. In the woods, designed to be explored by mountain bike.
The RAV4 model from Toyota is designed for people who prefer to spend their time off-road instead of gathering dust in front of a screen. Adventurers, daredevils, extreme sports enthusiasts, surfers, bikers, great people (For those who feel addressed now: The Car is also available to buy in Switzerland). In order to address these people directly, the South African agency in question has transported the virtual space into the wilderness and recreated the RAV4 website on a mountain bike track. The bike serves as the cursor. Navigation is done with the steering wheel.
The idea is beautiful and the realization is lovely. This makes up for the fact that the Toyota-sponsored bikers in the case movie were probably whizzing down the slope for the sake of the case movie - some recreational athletes were certainly not surprised by the real-life Internet. Ok, that's something completely new in case movies, which usually only show unsuspecting passers-by (for sure!). (hae)
