Facing redesigns annual report
Facing has developed a new conceptual and design framework for the Männedorf Hospital’s annual report. Over the next few years, the annual report will be expanded in terms of its content and designed to serve as a vehicle for the hospital’s image.
The agency designed the annual report in the style of a magazine. The editorial as well as the table of contents are intended to provide the reader with an easy introduction to the reading. The classic components of an annual report (the report of the board of directors, the report of the hospital management and the financial section) are placed at the beginning and end of the publication and thus form a bracket around the remaining content.
The annual report now covers various aspects of the hospital's business activities. In addition, large images and different page layouts are used so that the reader is presented with a varied picture. The use of different content containers, which deviate from a classic annual report and are based on the magazine design, is intended to make the publication more varied and attractive for the reader, the agency said in a statement on Thursday. The focus is always on the employees working at Männedorf Hospital, which enables an emotional appeal to the readership.
