Burson-Marsteller: New Head of Public Affairs
Burson-Marsteller has appointed Tim Frey as the new head of the Public Affairs division. In this role, he is also a member of the executive board.
Tim Frey will take over the role at the beginning of August 2013, replacing Gabi Badertscher, who wishes to pursue a new challenge (Werbewoche.ch reported). The agency wrote this in a press release on Wednesday. Frey knows Swiss politics from very different perspectives, has a solid scientific background and an excellent network.
From April 2009 to June 2012, Frey was Secretary General of the CVP Switzerland. In this role, he was entrusted with the management of the party's central staff organizational and administrative office and was able to implement several projects of strategic importance for the party. Prior to this, he worked as a researcher, assistant and lecturer at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich, where he focused in particular on electoral and party systems, social structural conflicts and democratization processes.
