Gemi April: TV and radio continue to grow

In a stable overall market, advertising pressure on TV, radio, and electronic media is rising steadily. Teletext and Adscreen, on the other hand, are losing ground. This is shown in the April issue of the Goldbach Index (Gemi).

Following a peak in December 2012, Adscreen recorded a further decline of six index points in April 2013 to 619. Teletext also fell slightly compared to the previous month with a loss of two index points, according to a Goldbach press release. TV and radio showed a continuous increase of two index points. TV closed with 629 and radio with 421 index points compared to the previous month. The overall market remained stable at 236 index points. Electronic media gained two index points to close at 634.
