Mediaedge:cia Switzerland: New Managing Director
Michael Kaiser will join MEC Mediaedge:cia Switzerland as Managing Director on March 1, 2013. He succeeds Sandro Prezzi in this role.
Michael Kaiser will assume operational responsibility for the whole of Switzerland with two locations in Zurich and Lausanne. The company announced this in a press release on Thursday. The new management team will expand services for international and national clients. Kaiser plans to develop and introduce additional services and thus optimize the overall cross-media offering.
Kaiser previously worked as a sales manager at Standard Service in Vienna (Der Standard) and is an honorary member of the Vienna regional board of the Wirtschaftsforum der Führungskräfte WdF. He studied political science at the University of Vienna and industrial engineering at the Technical University of Vienna, specializing in industrial business administration and project management.
The Board of Directors of MEC Mediaedge:cia Switzerland has also been strengthened with Klaus Nadler (CEO Group M Switzerland). Board Chairman Konrad Mayr-Pernek (Managing Director of MEC Mediaedge:cia Vienna) and Board member Julia Steffen (CFO of Group M Switzerland) remain in office.
MEC Mediaedge:cia Switzerland is part of the agency network of Group M Switzerland WPP and is represented by around 40 employees in Lausanne and Zurich. MEC is represented with almost 5,000 employees in 84 countries at 250 locations.
