Xaver.13 with new appearance
For the twelfth time, the Expo-Event.Live Communication Association of Switzerland is honoring the best trade show and event projects from the past year. The association has recently revamped its visual identity.
With a reduced appearance in gold on black, the significance of the Xaver for the industry and the winners is to be underlined. Following a Xaver tradition, this year's award ceremony will take place at a new location in Zurich: At Komplex 457. The program has undergone a lift. The aim is to optimize the mix of information and entertainment, promote transparency and offer the nominees an ideal platform for their presentations, the organizer said in a statement on Friday.
Each applicant will still present their project themselves so that the audience can get to know the nominated submissions comprehensively. However, the presentations will be shortened in favor of a direct comparison of the nominees in a panel discussion. The moderators and jury members will question the conception, approach and challenges of the projects live on stage to give the audience a concrete and critical insight.
The jury evaluates equally the idea and concept (originality, innovation, authenticity); as well as the implementation and accompanying measures (implementation / adherence to strategy, communication measures, inclusion of objectives / target group) and the controlling, respectively the follow-up (proof of success / achievement of objectives, cost / benefit ratio). The jury can also decide at any time to award a special prize across all categories, the statement continues. Hans-Jürg Rufener is presiding over the jury for the third time. Norman Bandi is also participating as a press representative for the third time. There will also be some changes for Xaver.13: With Claus Holtmann, the jury will once again be international. Iris Hildebrand will support the jury from the specific client perspective, and Pius Sidler will take a strict look at communication integration and the impact of the projects.
The Xaver will take place on April 16, 2013.
