Final of the 9th Porsche International Student Advertising Film Award
The decision has been made for the Porsche Award 2012 at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg: On Thursday evening, a jury announced the winners of the international prize for young advertising film students.
The Young Talent Award was presented for the ninth time on November 8, 2012. This year, a total of 64 commercials were submitted by students from 7 countries. The ten best of these have been nominated for the competition shortlist. The directors of these films will be invited to the award ceremony in Ludwigsburg, which was hosted this year by actor Ralph Herforth.
Traditionally, three cash prizes of 3,911 euros, 2,911 euros and 1,911 euros are awarded in the 1st category - classic commercials up to 90 seconds. In the 2nd category for advertising formats such as campaigns, branded entertainment, mobile productions or trailers, the winner will receive the New Ways Award, endowed with 2,356 euros. All prizes are awarded by Porsche and are intended to commemorate the Porsche 911 and the Porsche 356. All award winners will also receive a massive trophy in the form of a metal slingshot. It is intended to symbolize the up-and-coming filmmaker David, who has to find his way in the world of the big advertising goliaths with creative ideas.
