Freiburg News: New online presence
The Freiburger Nachrichten now has a new website. The entire site will be available to all users for three months.
After this introductory phase, the exclusive content of the Freiburger Nachrichten will be subject to a charge, according to an SDA press release. However, subscribers to the printed edition and e-paper subscribers can continue to access the full range of content at no extra charge, as the Freiburger Nachrichten announced on Thursday. The new website is intended to be more than the electronic counterpart to the printed daily newspaper and also offer news tickers, blogs and picture galleries, among other things.
The site was realized by Previon. The media agency was commissioned by the newspaper Freiburger Nachrichten at the beginning of the year with the technical development of its new website. The site, which was realized in Drupal, offers regional updates on events in German-speaking Fribourg, writes Previon in a press release on Thursday. Thanks to the use of responsive design, the site is also optimally displayed on tablets and smart phones.
