Verkaufen.ch: New cell phone purchase platform
Verkaufen.ch is the name of the new buying platform where you can sell used electronic devices. For the time being, the offer applies to cell phones and tablets, but will be continuously expanded.
With Sell.ch is launching a new type of platform: the pure buying platform. The sales process should be simple: You select the device you want to sell, specify its condition and any SIM lock, and receive an instant offer. If you are convinced, you send in your device postage free and receive your money within a few days. In this way, used cell phones and tablets should still be useful even when their successors are on the market. After purchase, the cell phones are refurbished and sold on, according to the press release.
But what happens if someone claims that their cell phone is in good condition even though the display is cracked? Rouven Küng, CEO of Verkaufen.ch, comments on the process: "We put the devices through their paces. If they don't match the seller's specifications, we contact them and make them a new offer. If he doesn't want to accept it, we send the device back to him free of charge."
The founders of Verkaufen.ch were already responsible for the launch of the Exsila.ch exchange platform in 2006.
