3+ pleased with good ratings
The Swiss private broadcaster 3+ is pleased with its high primetime ratings: During the week of September 3–9, 2012, the channel attracted more viewers than SF1 or SF2 on four evenings.
As the channel writes in a press release, 3+ achieved a higher market share than SF1 or SF2 in the target group of 15 to 34-year-olds and 15 to 49-year-old viewers on four evenings in prime time (8:00 to 10:30 p.m.) last week. The market share of 3+ among 15 to 34-year-olds climbed to 10.9 percent. In the target group of 15 to 49-year-olds, 3+ achieved up to 7.9 percent. On Wednesday, September 5, 3+ even achieved a higher primetime market share among 15 to 34-year-olds (10.9%) than SF1 (6.4%) and SF2 (5.2%).
The station has its in-house productions "Bauer, ledig, sucht...", "Bumann der Restauranttester" and first broadcasts of "Criminal Minds" to thank for these ratings. However, the new shows "The Simpsons" and "Once Upon a Time", which were added to the program in September, were also well received by viewers, the statement continued.
