Rolf Bollmann new CEO of the Baz Group
The new Baz CEO Rolf Bollmann was previously responsible for the media in the Zurich region on Tamedia's Executive Board. In addition, the management structure will be adjusted.
The operational restructuring of the Baz Group that has been initiated will be continued under his leadership. The goal continues to be to maintain the Basler Zeitung as an important, independent daily newspaper in northwestern Switzerland, according to a statement.
Filippo Leutenegger, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baz, says of the new appointment:
"As a long-standing member of Tamedia's Executive Board, he has extensive and successful experience with regional newspapers as well as with the development of 20 Minuten. We are delighted that he has taken on the responsible task as CEO of Basler Zeitung Medien."
National Zeitung und Basler Nachrichten AG (NZBN) has decided on the following organizational changes:
1. replacement of the Board of Directors:
The new composition of the Board of Directors of National Zeitung and Basler Nachrichten is as follows:
- Filippo Leutenegger, Chairman, previously
- Rolf Bollmann, Delegate of the Board of Directors, new
- Adriana Ospel-Bodmer, new
The current members of the Board of Directors Roland Steffen and Stefan Meili are leaving the Board. Roland Steffen is leaving the company at his own request. Stefan Meili is concentrating on his functions on the Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer and Head of the "Services" division.
2. reorganization of the management:
Rolf Bollmann is the new Chairman of the Executive Board. The current editorial and publishing divisions are combined in the "Newspapers" division.
