SPRI closes - PR training courses secured for the future

The SPRI training institute will close its doors in mid-July and cease teaching. However, the SPRI courses will continue to be offered in the future.

The closure is also linked to the termination of all employment and cooperation agreements, according to a press release issued on Wednesday. However, the SPRI Foundation will continue to exist in a reduced form with activities to promote and further develop PR know-how in Switzerland. The SPRI courses will continue to be offered under the "SPRI" label. Responsibility for this now lies with established educational institutions. The HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich will continue to offer the SPRI-CAS courses. The well-established collaboration with the Swiss Text Academy in the area of writing and publishing training will also continue. The Swiss Text Academy and HWZ will further intensify their cooperation in this area.

The KV Education Group Switzerland will now offer the entire vocational training part of PR/communication training under the umbrella brand SPRI, offering courses for PR specialists and PR consultants throughout German-speaking Switzerland. The SPRI workshop seminars will also be held by the KV Bildungsgruppe in future.

In French-speaking Switzerland, talks to secure the continuation of the existing SPRI service are still ongoing, according to the press release.
