Audience Council: Children's program Zambo liked
The children's program "Zambo" has received high marks from the SRG German-speaking Switzerland Audience Council. Only the series failed to win over the Audience Council.
Otherwise, the audience finds the program well done, versatile and attractively presented. This writes the council in a statement on Monday. The audience council praises the narrowing of the target group. Thus Zambo becomes more seizable and more purposeful. The balancing act, which the age range still makes necessary, succeeds "not at all badly". The three media complement each other well.
The audience council, on the other hand, is not convinced by the series. The in-house production "Best Friends" is described as "exaggerated, predictable and clichéd. The bought-in series "Dance Academy" comes off better. But the council particularly likes the reintroduction of "Guetnachtgschichtli" for the little ones.
Zambo has been around since 2010. It is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 10 and 14 - it used to target 6- to 13-year-olds. The broadcasts on SF1 and DRS1 are supplemented by a Zambo website.
"Buongiorno Svizzera"
The radio special project "Buongiorno Svizzera" is judged by the audience council to have been a success. For two weeks, DRS3 reported on Ticino and the Italian-speaking areas of Graubünden. The audience council would also like to see such insights into other parts of the country outside of special weeks, as it writes in the statement.
